What you’ll do?
We are seeking detail-oriented and proactive Deployment Technicians to join our dynamic IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the deployment, configuration, and installation of hardware and software systems across various client or internal environments. You will play a key part in ensuring that all end-user devices, including desktops, laptops, tablets, and mobile devices, are correctly configured, tested, and deployed according to company standards.
- Carry out all aspects of device configuration activities including device imaging and software deployment and installation of specific components.
- Perform stock picking, asset application of device, packaging and data entry.
- Assist with deploying, imaging, and decommissioning of bulk computer spaces.
- Undertake onsite delivery and deployment activities including physical unboxing of goods, device setup, software transfer and configuration as well as cable management.
What you’ll bring?
- Currently studying or completed a Certificate or higher course related to Information Technology.
- Passionate about everything IT and have an above-average understanding of MacOS and Windows OS.
- Experience in a fast-paced customer service, retail and/or operations role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent customer service skills.
- Strong professional attitude and conduct and ability to work well within a team.
What else do you need to apply?
- Travel on-site to our office in Banyo and to client sites in Brisbane.
- Must be an Australian resident available to work full time without restrictions.
Compnow will provide and require all successful applicants to complete a current National Police Check as well as a new or updated state-based Working With Children Check.
