Reporting to Warehouse Manager , the positionincludes the following responsibilities:

- Load and unload of Refrigerated trucks, trailers, containers.
- Sort and check Refrigerated freight against customer delivery paperwork
- Restrain loads as per the WA COR Load Restraint Guide
- Palletise and pack loads
- Handle Refrigerated and non standard freight
- Counterbalance Electric forklift operation
- Heavy lifting and dunnage duties
- Securing and restraining loads in a safe manner as per operational requirements
- Perform vehicle pre-start checks
- Report all damage freight and shortages via the exception reporting process
- Perform general housekeeping of trailers, wagons and SCT’s premises
- Complying with the Warehouse Traffic Management Plan
- Ensure compliance with all of SCT’s policies, procedures and applicable state and federal legislation.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

- Current LF High Risk Work license.
- Experience operating an Electric Forklift in a Refrigerated warehouse.
- Transporting freight in a safe and efficient manner.
- Knowledge & experience with load restraint procedures.
- Knowledge of Chain of Responsibility
