About Us
Madame Lynn is a busy Vietnamese restaurant operating seven days a week in Pyrmont. We specialise in authentic Vietnamese and Asian cuisine including pho, rice dishes and bánh mì. We are looking for an experienced and qualified Chef to join our team.

Main Duties

Plan and organise the preparation and cooking of Vietnamese and Asian cuisine

Prepare, season and cook menu items to restaurant standards

Develop and design new menu items and estimate food requirements and costs

Supervise kitchen staff and ensure efficient operation during busy periods

Check the quality, freshness and presentation of dishes before service

Monitor stock levels, order ingredients and control food costs and wastage

Maintain cleanliness and safety of kitchen areas, equipment and utensils

Requirements

Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification

At least 2 years’ full-time experience as a chef in a busy commercial kitchen

Strong knowledge of Vietnamese and Asian flavours and cooking styles

Excellent communication, teamwork and time-management skills

Willingness to work weekends and public holidays

Working Hours: 38–40 hours per week (rostered across 7 days)
Salary: $77,000 per annum plus superannuation
