About the role: Second in Charge (2IC) — Maximum‑Term, Part‑Time

We’re looking for a maximum‑term, part‑time Second in Charge Educator for our Fairy Meadow Fun Club & OSHC service located at Fairy Meadow Demonstration School. As the Second in Charge, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering quality care and education to school‑aged children. Your insights and creativity will help shape a vibrant and engaging environment. Collaborating closely with the Director, you'll have the opportunity to infuse your ideas into the programs designed for the children. Together, you'll ensure the service upholds Big Fat Smile's policies, aligns with the National Quality Framework, and adheres to Child Protection legislation.

What you need to succeed

- A cleared and valid Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- Diploma of Children's Services or related qualification (desirable)
- Experience working with school‑aged kids—whether in a school, as an educator, a support role (SLSO), or as a 2IC
- Outstanding skills in communication with families and the community
- Demonstrated commitment to work health and safety
