This Medical Centre is well established, having provided exceptional patient health care to the community for more than 20 years. They are dedicated to providing professional, high-quality patient-centered care to their community in a relaxed, family-friendly environment. They believe a key component to achieving this is to foster a supportive team environment for our staff where all experience, ideas and contributions are welcomed and valued. The clinical team of Drs and Nurses work closely with each other striving to provide this care, whilst incorporating a holistic approach toward diagnosis and management of illness. The practice is committed to promoting health, wellbeing and disease prevention for all patients. Their diverse patient base makes us a standout practice to further your clinical knowledge and skills. GP's regularly see a cross-section of the community from infants through adolescents to the elderly. GPs have the opportunity to conduct Workcover consultations and employment medicals (for local trucking companies), rideshare uber medicals, as well as performing skin excisions and minor surgery (including workplace injuries from local abattoir). Their GPs also regularly assist patients with their Chronic disease management, for example working with our registered nurses in the preparation of Diabetic GP management and Team Care Arrangement plans. The practice also routinely see babies and young children for scheduled Health checks and immunisations, advise on travel vaccinations, prepare Mental Health treatment plans, provide antenatal, antenatal share care and postnatal care.

Withcott was also called the friendliest town in Australia This can be seen in their patient group consulting at the practice. They are looking for a new doctor to join the practice, as a long-term senior doctor has left the practice.

- Patients also have access to visiting Allied Health Services including a psychologist and physiotherapist

- Free undercover parking for all staff

Practice Hours:
Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm, Saturday 8.30 - 1pm (One Dr works on rotation).

Position Description:
Comprehensive General Practitioner service, Diverse patient demographic, providing health care ranging from young families to geriatric care, provision of skin cancer surgery on site. The practice provides pre-employment medicals, commercial driver medicals, uber medicals and workcover services for many employees of local businesses. Travel vaccinations and general immunisation.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Vocationally Registered

- AHPRA Registered

Salary Information:
Negotiable (based on level of experience and qualifications).

1 hour 20 minutes drive from Brisbane, 12 minutes Drive from Toowoomba in a Distribution Priority Area Withcott is located in the Lockyer Valley at the base of Toowoomba's Great Dividing Range.
