Charles Elena Pty Ltd is a leading Melbourne-based digital agency specialising in design, branding, UI/UX, and technology-driven digital solutions. They are currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled ICT Systems Test Engineer / Test Lead to join their team in Melbourne on a full-time basis.

Duties:

• Develop and write test strategy/plans.

• Involve in various types of software testing - sanity testing, smoke testing, system testing, regression testing, E2E testing and UAT testing.

• Document the results of tests in defect reports and Test Result Document.

• Create Requirement Traceability matrix (RTM).

• Participate and conduct Agile ceremonies like Daily stand-up, Sprint planning, Sprint retrospective, Sprint demo and backlog refinement.

• Coordinate with the stakeholders & delivering the testing services including Test Metrics, Requirements Traceability, and defect management.

• Any other relevant duties as assigned from time to time.

Criteria:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification

• At least 5 years relevant experience

• Proficiency in multiple programming languages, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript (and related frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js), and a server-side language like Node.js or Python, is crucial.

• Understanding database management and querying (e.g., SQL, NoSQL) is essential for managing data in web applications.

• Familiarity with frontend frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js and backend frameworks like Node.js is highly beneficial.

• Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and DevOps practices (CI/CD)

• Good communication skills in both verbal and written.

• Understanding of browser technologies and impacts these have on a SharePoint site

• Strong understanding and experience with Software lifecycle processes and change management
