About the role

- Location: Manly West, QLD

- Position: Casual Educator (Flexible)

- Rates: $33.50-$41.30 per hour

Essential Qualifications

- Certificate III, Diploma, or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent)
- Current and valid Working With Children Check or ability to obtain one
- First Aid Certificate including training in asthma and anaphylaxis

Essential Skills and Attributes:

- Ability to provide a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all children
- Understanding of developmental milestones and needs of various age groups
- Capability to design, implement, and evaluate developmentally appropriate programs
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to work as part of a diverse team
- Adaptability to various situations in an early childhood setting

Desirable Skills and Knowledge:

- Familiarity with the national early learning framework
- Understanding of standards and assessment processes for quality service
- Respect for diverse cultures and individual needs
- Proficiency in relevant software for documenting children's learning
- Previous experience as an Educator or similar role
