THE TRUSTEE FOR THE JAI INVESTMENTS TRUST

We are seeking experienced Truck Drivers who will play a vital role in the transportation and distribution of refrigerated chicken and other food products. Operating from our Mareeba depot, you’ll ensure timely and safe deliveries to supermarkets, restaurants, and commercial clients across Far North Queensland. This position requires reliability, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining cold chain integrity throughout the delivery process.

Task & Responsibilities

- Operate refrigerated trucks for food product deliveries.

- Load and unload poultry items safely and efficiently.

- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation.

- Ensure temperature control and product integrity during transit.

- Follow designated routes across Mareeba, Cairns, Tully, Innisfail, Port Douglas, and Mossman.

- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status.

- Perform routine vehicle checks and report maintenance needs.

Qualification & Experience

- Valid HR or MR truck driver’s license.

- Proven experience in refrigerated transport or food logistics.

- Knowledge of cold chain compliance and food safety standards.

- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

- Good communication and customer service skills.

- Basic mechanical knowledge for vehicle upkeep.

- Forklift license (preferred but not mandatory).
