The Gig

An exciting opportunity is now available for an experienced, detail-driven, and solutions-focused Engineering Coordinator to join their northern beaches-based team. This growth role is central to supporting project delivery, estimating, scheduling, and quality assurance, ensuring client needs are met to the highest standard.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you’ll ply your trade to review structural drawings, prepare cost estimates, and plan production schedules. You’ll also play a hands-on role in inspecting products, analysing quality data, and driving improvements across manufacturing and supply. Collaborating closely with the sales, engineering, and operations teams, you’ll help keep projects moving smoothly and clients well supported.

Technical precision underpins everything you do, from interpreting drawings and coordinating schedules to inspecting products and maintaining compliance. You’ll bring structure, accuracy, and initiative to every stage of the process, ensuring outcomes are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.

You’ll be trusted with:

- Reviewing structural drawings and project specifications to identify product requirements
- Performing take-offs and estimating costs for products, manufacturing, and delivery
- Preparing competitive proposals and value-engineered solutions
- Planning and updating production and delivery schedules to meet client deadlines
- Monitoring progress, reporting on costs, and addressing any variances
- Inspecting products, maintaining traceability records, and supporting quality assurance
- Analysing quality data to identify trends and improvements
- Supporting the Engineering Manager with technical initiatives and projects
- Coordinating with internal teams, suppliers, and clients to maintain smooth project flow
- Assisting across the wider business as needed to ensure delivery outcomes

What’s in your toolbox?

- Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical, Structural, or Civil)
- 2+ years’ experience in construction, engineering supply, or related industry
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, MS Project, and MS Office
- Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise confidently with teams, suppliers, and clients
- Attention to detail with proven ability in estimation, scheduling, and quality control
- A proactive, driven mindset with a passion for learning and improvement
