We are seeking applications from qualified and experienced trades people to join our team at our Katoomba Field Service Centre.

Your trade qualification can be either a Distribution Powerline Worker or Electrical Fitter Mechanic.

Role and location

Distribution Powerline Worker:

- Base Salary $74,700 to $81,900 (average 36 hours per week, 9 day fortnight), + 16.5% super + allowances and additional benefits.
- Total typical earnings $122,255 to $132,669 per annum (This is an estimate based on most common amounts paid last year, inclusive of overtime and benefits, and not a guarantee of future earnings)

Electrical Fitter Mechanic

- Base Salary $77,831 to $85,194 (average 36 hours per week, 9 day fortnight), + 16.5% super + allowances and additional benefits.
- Total typical earnings $130,265 to $139,860 per annum (This is an estimate based on most common amounts paid last year, inclusive of overtime and benefits, and not a guarantee of future earnings)

About the role

Working as part of a small crew, you will be involved in:

- all facets of underground, overhead and substation construction and maintenance activities as well as emergency restoration work.
- after-hours fault & emergency response work when required.

Requirements

To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to meet the following requirements:

- Trade qualification as an Electrical Fitter Mechanic or Distribution Powerline Worker
- Sound knowledge of construction and maintenance practices for the underground and overhead distribution network
- Experience in installation, repair and maintenance of both overhead and underground assets
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
- Personal commitment to working safely and good knowledge of OH&S policies and procedures covering field operations
- Current HR driver/'s licence
- Customer-centric approach

- WorkCover Certificaties: EWP, C2, DG & Forklift
- Traffic Control Certificates
- Switching capability
- Ability to use iPads and Microsoft Office
