An exciting opportunity exists to join Holy Cross Catholic Primary School in Mickleham.
Holy Cross Catholic Primary School is an innovative, vibrant and dynamic Catholic school, in the fast growing area of Mickleham. The safety, wellbeing and inclusion of all learners is fundamental to Holy Cross.
As a growing new school, we are seeking an energised, highly motivated, agile and dynamic teacher to join our team as a classroom teacher at the beginning of the 2026 school year. Experienced and Graduate teachers are encouraged to apply.
The successful applicant will be involved in the development of a culture of dynamic learning and positive student wellbeing and will need to demonstrate the flexibility, enthusiasm and commitment to work in a new school.
All applicants must hold a current VIT registration. Religious Education Accreditation (or a willingness to undertake this requirement) is required.
Key Selection Criteria:
The successful applicant will demonstrate:
- a commitment to Catholic education.
- an understanding of the Child Safe Standards.
- a passion for working with students.
- a capacity to implement engaging and empowering learning activities for students.
- an understanding of how to differentiate learning experiences for students.
- an understanding of contemporary educational practice.
- a willingness to work collaboratively with colleagues.
- flexibility and organisational skills to cope with the demands of working in a new and rapid growing school.
