Civil Construction Certificate III (3 years)

Location: Goulburn

Hours: Monday – Friday, on site 7am to 5pm. Travel may be required. Hours may vary from time to time. Saturday work may be required.

We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as a Civil Construction Apprentice This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience, learn from industry professionals, and work on a range of projects that help shape our communities.

You will acquire the knowledge, skills and competence to complete the apprenticeship, together with a view to establishing a career in the civil industry.

The successful candidate will complete a three-year apprenticeship through a combination of formal training with a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and practical on-the-job experience.

We will provide you with ongoing mentoring and support to help you achieve your career goals and unleash your true potential. Your role will expose you to various industry related tasks, whilst gaining a nationally recognised qualification.

Responsibilities

- Assist with site preparation, earthmoving, concreting, and other construction tasks
- Operate hand and power tools under supervision
- Learn how to interpret plans, drawings, and specifications
- Work as part of a skilled team to complete projects on time
- Comply with all safety and environmental regulations

Qualifications

- Have a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Enjoy working outdoors and as part of a team.
- Have a basic understanding of safety practices.
- Are able to follow instructions and take initiative.
- Be able to undertake manual/physical work.
- Be motivated with a genuine interest in the industry.
- Have good manual handling techniques and safety focus.
- A current driver’s licence is preferable.
