The Y Vic Information Technology team operates out of the state office in Box Hill and services the application and technology needs of the various centres, The team provides support for a range of business-critical applications, manages all centralised IT infrastructure as well as projects

About the Opportunity

Reporting to the CIO The Project Manager – Procurement System Replacement Project will play the lead role in executing the successful delivery and change of a new procurement platform that will set Y Victoria up for successful procurement management for the future.

The role will be working in a hybrid role performing and Project Management duties as well as leading the change alongside the Executive Manager of Procurement across a project to replace the existing legacy Procurement process. You will also be working alongside other IT and Finance team members to lead a Transformation team implementing a procurement platform to support multiple business service areas. The position will also act as the bridge between the technology and finance teams and the wider organisation, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with other group members in order to achieve excellent outcomes ensuring the finance application and business processes operate at an optimal level.

Responsibilities include:

- Determine operational objectives in relation to procurement management
- Analysing commercial data such as budgets, sales results and forecasts
- Ability to pick up an existing project in flight and run to completion
- Supporting business transition and helping to establish and embed change
- Present and engage with senior leadership teams

This is a six month Maximum Term role with a base salary of $147,000 to $157,000 plus super (dependent on experience). You'll work from home and our Box Hill offices 1 to 2 days per week. The role will require some travel to our sites, where required.

About You

To be successful in this role you will be an effective communicator, background in project management with demonstrated ability to present technical and detailed findings and recommendations to senior leadership and take on the journey of change. You will have experience in building process maps, system requirements, acceptance criteria, user journeys, use cases and user stories. Procurement system implementation is advantageous partnered with the ability to work through complexity

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
- A valid Australian car licence
