About the role

The Operational Contract Management Branch (previously Private Prison Contract Management) is accountable for the contract management of the Department’s privately-operated prison and the Electronic Monitoring Services Agreement. For more information, please refer to the attached JDF.

The position holder is responsible for the establishment and maintenance of contract management procedures, evaluating and reporting on the contractor’s performance, including a high focus on financial management of the contracts.

Additionally, the role will include involvement in the negotiation and renegotiation of contracts. It is crucial to possess good interpersonal skills and operational contract management experience to undertake this role.

- To be eligible for appointment to permanent positions in the Western Australian Public Sector you must be an Australian citizen or have permanent resident status in Australia.
