Responsibilities

Your opportunity:

- Design, implement, and manage API proxies using Apigee API Gateway.
- Work closely with development teams to integrate micro services and AWS Lambda functions into the API platform.
- Automate proxy generation and deployment using CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
- Support and maintain Apigee Hybrid environments across AWS EKS and GCP.
- Collaborate with teams to ensure secure, scalable, and high-performing API solutions.
- Monitor and troubleshoot API performance, latency, and error rates.
- Contribute to Kafka-based event streaming integrations and platform enhancements.

Qualifications

- 2–3 years of experience in software development, testing, and architecture, preferably in integration or platform engineering.
- 1–2 years working in cross-functional technology and integration teams.
- Solid experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, AWS CloudFormation.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tooling and automation.
- Strong working knowledge of the AWS Cloud platform.
- Familiarity with Terraform-based Apigee deployments across AWS EKS and GCP.

Ideally, you will also have:

- Experience with Apigee Hybrid and API Gateway architecture.
- Understanding of AWS services such as VPC, Security, Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, Kinesis, and Managed Kafka.
- Exposure to event-driven architectures and Kafka integration.
- Experience in full-stack development and building resilient, scalable solutions.
- Familiarity with Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript frameworks.
