We are seeking dynamic and passionate Restaurant Managers and Assistant Restaurant Managers to lead our Front of House team. This is your chance to take centre stage in creating unforgettable dining experiences in one of Australia's most breathtaking destinations.

About The Sundays: The Sundays is a new luxury boutique hotel, opening soon on Hamilton Island in the heart of the Whitsundays. Designed to bring the relaxed essence of Sundays to life, it offers an inviting retreat for families to relax, reconnect, and create lasting memories. With elegant interiors and personalised service, The Sundays blends laid-back luxury with a warm, family-friendly atmosphere in one of Australia's most stunning destinations.

About the Opportunity: The Front of House Management team at The Sundays will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional dining experiences. As the face of the restaurant, you'll welcome guests, manage their reservations, and ensure a smooth and enjoyable dining journey from start to finish.

In this key position, you'll coordinate with the kitchen and bar teams to provide seamless service, address guest needs, and create a warm, inviting atmosphere. As part of the opening team, you'll have a unique opportunity to set up and shape the Front of House operations, ensuring that every aspect of service reflects the restaurant's commitment to quality, relaxation, and connection.

What You'll Do:

1. Motivate and support the Front of House team, establishing a welcoming and positive culture from day one.
2. Oversee daily Front of House operations, ensuring seamless service delivery and exceptional guest experiences.
3. Build a strong team through effective onboarding, coaching, and skill development.
4. Coordinate with the kitchen and other departments to maintain clear communication and efficient service flow.
5. Implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and maximise revenue opportunities.
6. Uphold The Sundays' ethos in all interactions, creating a relaxed and memorable dining experience.

What We're Looking For:

1. Diploma in Hospitality Management or similar, with at least 12-18 months of supervisory experience (preferred).
2. Strong leadership, communication, training, and team-building skills.
3. Solid understanding of restaurant operations and service standards.
4. Ability to handle unexpected challenges with poise and professionalism.
5. Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices (essential).
6. Passionate about creating positive guest experiences aligned with The Sundays' ethos.
7. Ready to tackle the unique challenges of an opening team with a calm and steady approach.
