Palermo Perfume is fast growing company produces Ultimate Choice in fragrance products without the accompanying price tags. Palermo Perfumes offers men and women a choice of over 1,200 fragrances each 50ml Eau De Parfum natural spray bottles.
Palermo has 36 associated branches and employs around 300 staff members. Although, all branches have different ABN number, they are associated entities as the director of the companies are the same person. Head office organizes all branches human resources, employment of staff members, employer rosters, prepares payroll for all the branches and also organizes their insurance policies.
Full Time Office Manager
Salary $77,000 - $79,000
Palermo looks for a F/T Office Manager to undertake following duties:
Key Responsibilities:
• Office Planning & Management:
o Contribute to the planning and review of office services, ensuring smooth operations across Palermo Perfume's 36 associated branches.
o Set priorities and establish office service standards to maintain efficiency.
• Human Resources & Staff Coordination:
o Allocate human resources, manage rosters, and oversee recruitment in collaboration with the head office.
o Monitor work performance of employees across all branches and assist with performance management.
o Coordinate payroll processing for all branches, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.
• Administrative & Financial Oversight:
o Manage records, accounts, and documentation for all branches, ensuring compliance with company policies.
o Oversee procurement of office supplies and equipment, ensuring cost-effective purchasing.
o Ensure branch offices maintain proper insurance coverage as organized by the head office.
• Regulatory Compliance & Workplace Safety:
o Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations across all branch locations.
o Maintain adherence to Australian business laws and employment policies, addressing any legislative changes as needed.
• Liaison & Coordination:
o Act as the primary point of contact between the head office, branch managers, and external professionals.
o Facilitate problem resolution related to office operations, human resources, and compliance.
o Support ongoing staff training and development initiatives.
Required Qualifications & work experience:
Minimum Diploma in Business and minimum 1 year work experiences in the relevant field
Additional skillsets:
• Extensive experience with MYOB.
• Payables, Receivables, Data entry, Report analysis
• Handling of sensitive and important documentation.
• Business Banking Processes
• Understand of the General Retail Industry Award
• Timesheet Approval, Processing, Payroll.
• Prior experience with Third party HR and Attendance systems (Preferably TANDA).
• Shopify system Maintenance and Inventory coordination.
• Fluency in English and Turkish Language Preferable.
• Fluency in Microsoft products.
• Prior customer service experience.
• Knowledgeable in Perfume Products.
• Prior employment experience in the Perfume Industry.
