Hose Technician

Overview

Short Description: Hose Technician delivering consistent, accurate, high-quality service to our customers.

Responsibilities

- Workshop and onsite repair and overhaul of hydraulic components
- Report on equipment following disassembly and inspection
- Ability to stay on task and take instructions well
- Reassembly and testing of hoses as required
- Onsite hydraulic support for BlueScope Steel and other local businesses
- Assist in Mobile Truck Hose Breakdown service

Who are you / Qualifications

- Trade qualifications (Mechanical) as a Fitter, Turner & Machinist or Plant Mechanic with hydraulic experience preferred but not essential
- A committed individual and willing to work part of the 24/7 breakdown roster
- Hydraulic or Mechanical background
- Experience manufacturing hydraulic hose assemblies
- Understanding the importance of accuracy and quality
