Your new role
As the APS5 Case Management Support Officer, you'll be part of a structured induction program that blends on-the-job training with classroom-style learning. This role is ideal for someone looking to build confidence and capability in administrative review processes and government systems.

Key responsibilities include:

Analysing and assessing applications under relevant legislation
Preparing case summaries and supporting documentation for review
Managing records and filing documents in business systems
Drafting and lodging Tribunal documents within statutory timeframes
Supporting interlocutory applications and liaising with legal teams
Identifying and managing risks, including privacy and priority issues
Responding to complaints, Ministerial correspondence, and other requests
Assisting in onboarding and mentoring new team members


What you'll need to succeed
You'll bring experience in legal administration, paralegal work, or statutory decision-making. A background in public sector administration and a strong understanding of governance frameworks will be highly regarded.
