Chubb Fire & Security, an industry leader and part of the API Fire and Security group of companies, is looking for Monitoring/Call Centre Operators to join our Sydney team.

The role is located at Rydalmere, Dharug Country, within the Parramatta council area of Sydney. It offers free parking on site and is accessible via a short bus ride from Parramatta train station.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Working in a fast-paced Control Room environment requiring calmness, attention to detail, and professionalism.
2. Exhibiting strong communication skills and computer literacy.
3. Managing multiple high-priority alarm events and inbound calls simultaneously.
4. Liaising with emergency services, security patrols, and diverse clients.
5. Working a rotating 24/7 roster onsite; remote work is not available.

The role suits individuals with a strong customer service background, team players capable of working independently, resilient, and reliable professionals. Self-awareness and disciplined stress management are essential for success.

Ideal candidates have experience in a call centre or customer-facing roles in retail or hospitality and are seeking to transition into an office-based environment.

Applicants must hold or be able to obtain an NSW1E Security License, undergo a Criminal History Police clearance, and attend a Pre-Employment Medical.

This is an award-based position under the Security Services Industry Award, with multiple rosters to accommodate operational needs and personal preferences. Shift patterns include 12-hour shifts on a 4 on, 4 off cycle (2 days, 2 nights), with additional rosters during peak times. Estimated earnings range from $72,000 to $82,000 annually, with less than 180 workdays per year.
