We seek passionate and caring individuals to join our inclusive kindergarten teams.
In this role, you’ll make a real difference by supporting children from the ages of 3 to 5 years of age, including those with a disability, so every child feels safe, included, and supported to grow.
About The Role
As an Additional Assistant, you’ll:
- Work as part of a kindergarten team under the guidance of the Lead Educator.
- Support children in their learning, play, and daily activities, tailored to their individual needs.
- Provide physical assistance (e.g., mealtimes, toileting, mobility support) with care and respect.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Help create an inclusive environment where every child is valued.
- Attend team meetings and contribute to planning and communication.
This is a casual role, perfect for those who are looking to gain more experience in the education sector by growing their skills and making a meaningful impact.
About You
You are someone who genuinely cares about children and their inclusion. You bring patience, empathy, and enthusiasm to everything you do.
- Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (preferred but not essential).
- Experience working with children in educational or care settings (highly desirable).
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- The ability to meet the physical requirements of the role.
- A commitment to upholding children’s rights, safety, and wellbeing.
Requirements
- Cleared NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Current Working with Children Check (Employee).
- Completion of the NDIS Workers Orientation Module.
- Australian working rights.
- Driver’s licence (if required for travel between sites).
