About the role

As a Senior Pharmacist with SA Pharmacy, you’ll take responsibility for the management and delivery of high-quality pharmacy services within your designated area. This role combines leadership, clinical expertise, and strategic responsibility, offering you the chance to make a tangible impact on patient care. You will provide advanced therapeutic advice to patients, medical and nursing staff, and other health professionals, while ensuring the safe and cost-effective use of medicines across hospital and community settings.

Working within Statewide Clinical Support Services (SCSS), you’ll play a key role in mentoring staff, developing service improvements, and contributing to clinical research and education. This is a dynamic opportunity to be part of a progressive team that values collaboration, professional development, and innovation in pharmacy practice.

About You

You are a highly skilled and motivated pharmacist who brings clinical expertise, leadership experience, and a strong commitment to optimising patient outcomes.

- Bachelor of Pharmacy (or equivalent) and current registration (or eligibility) with the Pharmacy Board of Australia

- Extensive experience in hospital pharmacy practice, including leadership, supervisory or management roles

- Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to educate, mentor and train staff

- Subject to vaccination and clearance requirements.
