About the Role

This role sits at the heart of Domain + CoStar Group’s strategy to deliver trusted, AI-driven insights to millions of property seekers and professionals.

Your work will directly reduce the cycle time for new data products, lift adoption of a single enterprise model, and cut data-quality incidents across the business.

What success looks like

- Faster deployment of new data products and pipelines

- Enterprise-wide adoption of the canonical data model

- Measurable drop in data-quality incidents and schema drift

- Positive feedback from analytics, product and infrastructure teams on ease of data access and reliability

What you’ll bring

- Proven experience (≈5+ years) in data architecture at enterprise scale

- Designing and implementing conceptual, logical, and physical data models

- Data modelling, complex data pipelines, streaming and batch processing

- Strong knowledge of AI-driven data solutions and machine-learning–ready architectures

- Design and rollout of data transformation frameworks

- Data quality, governance, and observability best practices

- Solid grounding in data engineering principles and cloud-based data infrastructure

AI / Machine Learning

- Significant exposure to AI initiatives (traditional machine learning, AI-driven products)

- Ability to architect data platforms that enable AI/ML products

Leadership & Collaboration

- Experience working in multi-disciplinary squads with Product, Engineering, and Data Science

- Ability to mentor and influence senior engineers and data professionals

- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

- Minimum Bachelor Degree qualified - Degree in Computer Science, or Data Engineering

Nice to have

- Experience with Generative AI and integrating Gen-AI tooling into data engineering workflows

- Hands-on optimisation of large-scale data infrastructure and performance tuning

- Previous platform leadership or infrastructure management experience

- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools for data pipelines

- Experience bringing AI-driven tooling to data engineering productivity
