Expression of Interest - MSIC and NV1 Security Officer

Are you a MSIC or NV1 accredited Security Officer with a passion for safety and compliance? Certis Security Australia is inviting Expressions of Interest for upcoming Security Officer opportunities across Queensland.

This is a casual position suited to proactive, professional, and detail-oriented individuals who thrive in a structured and safety-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and control access (vehicles and personnel)
- Maintain records: sign-in/out logs, incident reports, and daily communication diaries
- Conduct regular patrols across gates, buildings, and site perimeters
- Monitor CCTV, fire and access control systems; respond to alarms and onsite incidents
- Support emergency situations, including First Aid response when required
- Perform Gatehouse duties including visitor management and surveillance support
- Proactively prevent and report suspicious or unsafe activities

Qualification

- Current QLD Security Licence including Crowd Control and Unarmed.
- First Aid Certificate including current CPR
- Valid Driver’s Licence

You will also have either:

- Current Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC) or
- Current NV1 security clearance
