RDI delivers POS services (point-of-sale) and related software applications that focus on the overall crew and customer experience, resulting in improved operations to the fastest-growing food restaurant chain in over 120 countries and over 37,500 locations worldwide.

Main Responsibilities

- Develop software, collect information and verify the viability of the implementation

- Issue diagnosis and bug fixing of local customization code

- Develop code to customize RDI applications for use in the Global Market

- Code review and code refactoring

- Create documentation as needed

- Estimate the effort of the activities requested

- Keep contact with colleagues in Sao Paulo, Sydney, Chicago, and London.

Requirements

Backend Development

- Proven experience with backend service development

- Recommended: ASP.NET (version 6 or newer)

- Familiarity with clean architecture, dependency injection, and scalable service design is a plus

Cloud Services

- Recommended: AWS (experience with services like Lambda, ECS, RDS, S3, etc.)

- Optional: Familiarity with Azure or GCP environments

Client-Server Communication

- Proficiency in designing and implementing RESTful APIs

- Understanding of synchronous and asynchronous communication patterns (e.g., message queues)

Data Storage

- Hands-on experience with both SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MSSQL) and NoSQL (e.g., DynamoDB, MongoDB) databases

- Knowledge of indexing, performance optimization, and schema design is beneficial

Soft Skills & Collaboration

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills

- Comfortable working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment

- Fluent English and Hungarian language knowledge is a must
