The Opportunity
Are you someone who enjoys solving problems and making sure things work the way they should?
As a Quality Analyst at Medibank, you/'ll play a key role in identifying and preparing testing requirements, scenarios, and test cases through a risk-based approach. You/'ll help ensure that test coverage is thorough and aligned with the level of risk involved.
This role offers the opportunity to work independently while also collaborating with and receiving guidance from a Senior Test Analyst or Test Lead when needed. It’s a great chance to be part of a supportive team and help deliver high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities
- Ability to analyse Project Requirements and subsequently extract/identify the relevant testing requirements
- Ability to ensure all allocated activities are completed to scope, on time, with high quality in accordance to agreed standards
- Ability to utilise the appropriate tools to raise project and testing issues and risks
- Sound Business Engagement, Requirement Gathering skills
- Ability to extract requirements in the absence of formal documentation by liaising with the appropriate stakeholder ranging from business stakeholders through to project team by using appropriate techniques
- Ability to create/execute Automation scripts using the appropriate toolset used by MPL, where necessary
- Maintain awareness of industry trends, standards and methods, where appropriate
- Contribute to process improvements for regression suites and Automation Testing
Must haves
- 5+ years testing experience with hands on test automation with SAP based applications/systems and the TOSCA tool for Automated Testing.
- Proven experience with SAP QA/UAT cycles ensuring smooth planning and execution
- Exposure to API tools- Postman
- Experienced working in a mature CI/CD environment with high focus on test automation.
- Sound Risk-Based analytical skills with high attention to detail
- Sound knowledge in the utilisation of JIRA (xray) & Confluence
- Proven ability to operate and deliver in large, complex and dynamic environments
- Exposure to Lean, Waterfall and Agile methodologies
- Exposure to test automation tools
- Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work with stakeholders at all levels
- A self-motivated and flexible individual able to deal with pressure and deliver to tight deadlines with a focus on risk
