We are seeking a skilled and experienced Boilermaker (322311 Metal Fabricator) to join our team in Kalgoorlie on a full-time basis. This role offers variety and challenge, working across different client sites throughout Western Australia.

Task & responsibilities

- Interpreting blueprints, drawings, and job specifications.

- Selecting, cleaning, and preparing metal stock for fabrication.

- Marking out, cutting, and shaping metal sections using hand tools, torches, and cutting machines.

- Fabricating, assembling, and repairing structural steel, boilers, pressure vessels, and other metal components.

- Shaping and bending sheet metal and sections using hand and machine tools, heating, and hammering.

- Joining and aligning parts using ARC, MIG, and thin-gauge welding, as well as bolting and riveting.

- Repairing and fabricating metal components for fixed plant equipment, including screens, crushers, and conveyors.

- Installing and maintaining scraper systems through welding and fabrication tasks.

- Performing field fabrication and repairs during shutdowns as part of maintenance crews.

- Preparing and maintaining work documentation, including service reports and job hazard analyses, ensuring all tasks meet safety, quality, and compliance standards.

Qualification & experience

- Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication, or equivalent.

- Minimum 2 years of experience in crusher and conveyor maintenance.
