General Practice Nurse – Bribie Island, Queensland.
Employment Type: Permanent – Full time or Part-Time.

About the Role:
The practice is seeking a passionate and experienced General Practice Nurse to join their team. With multiple roles available, you will be an integral part of their dedicated healthcare team, delivering exceptional patient care and supporting the smooth operation of our busy general practice.
What You'll be Doing:
- Providing high-quality nursing care to patients, including administering injections, wound dressings, and other clinical procedures
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records, in line with medical practice and regulatory requirements
- Collaborating with our team of general practitioners to deliver comprehensive and personalised patient care
- Contributing to the development and implementation of practice policies and procedures
- Actively participating in professional development opportunities to enhance your nursing skills and knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Wound management
- Vaccinations - Adult & Children
- Handling Emergencies & Triage
- Procedures including Venesection’s and Biopsies
- ECG and Spirometry
- Ear Syringing
- Sterilisation of instruments
- Health Management including health assessment’s
- Preparing kits/trolley's for minor surgical procedures
- COVID / Flu Vaccination Clinics
- Inventory and Stock Management
Position Requirements:
- Current AHPRA registration
- Previous practice nurse experience in a GP practice preferred but not essential
- A good working knowledge of Windows, MS Office.
- Experience with Best Practice and previous accreditation experience will be an advantage.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- High level interpersonal skills to relate well to patients, staff and health care professionals.
- Passion for your role to take pride in seeing the service grow and be successful.
- Able to commit to required hours, including after hours
After Hours Requirements: No
Salary Information:
$38 - $45 per hour.
