In this Associate Director role, you will:

- Provide expert advisory support to frontline bankers, internal partners (Risk, Legal, Operations and Compliance teams) and senior leadership on fraud risk mitigation strategies and controls.
- Oversee fraud prevention governance frameworks ensuring they align with internal standards and external regulatory requirements.
- Support the implementation of technology-enabled fraud detection and prevention solutions.
- Provide input on customer education initiatives and awareness campaigns to help NAB's customers recognise and avoid scams.
- Coordinate cross-functional responses to fraud incidents, ensuring thorough investigation, effective remediation and documentation of lessons learned for continuous improvement.
- Assist with delivering timely intelligence on emerging fraud trends and scam typologies by leveraging data analytics.

What you will bring:

- Proven experience in fraud risk management including both internal and external fraud and in-depth knowledge of fraud risk management principles.
- Exposure to the financial services industry and a diverse range of wholesale banking customers (customer banking, markets, corporate finance).
- Experience developing and implementing technology-driven fraud detection and prevention solutions and/or experience with fraud detection systems & software.
- Ability to leverage data to provide insights into reporting and drive data-driven decisions based on advanced analytics.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with a customer-first approach.
- Compliance-related qualifications such as ACAMS Fraud would be highly desirable.
