Veterinary Nurse Assistant – Surgery (Full-time) at Brisbane Veterinary Specialist Centre. 38 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 7am–3pm.
About Us:Brisbane Veterinary Specialist Centre is a leader in veterinary care, offering state-of-the-art facilities for specialist and emergency services. We deliver gold-standard care in a collaborative, compassionate environment, achieving the best possible outcomes for our patients.
The Role:
- Maintain surgical areas through cleaning, disinfection, and equipment upkeep.
- Assist with patient prep and manage hygiene in treatment areas.
- Manage stock levels and process orders.
- Complete Infection Control and Nurse Assistant Checklists efficiently.
- Adhere to BVSC's safety policies and high care standards.
We're looking for a motivated, resilient individual who thrives in a dynamic environment. You should be reliable, energetic, and detail-oriented, eager to learn, skilled in infection control and WHS principles, able to manage time effectively, a clear communicator, and flexible.
Requirements:
- Certificate II or III in Animal Studies.
- Ability to meet physical demands of the role.
- Prior experience in a veterinary setting preferred.
