Salary Range: AU$25.00 – AU$38.00 per hour

More Information: Swimable is a boutique swimming school located within St Mary’s College in St Kilda East and operating in a modern 25m pool. The culture is welcoming with friendly customers and staff. Lessons are available every day; after school, Monday-Friday and in the morning on both Saturday and Sunday.

Role

We are looking for friendly team players available to work after school hours (afternoon/early evening) and weekend mornings. You may wish to work as few as 3 hours or as many as 20 hours per week so long as you are able to commit for the entire school term.

Casual positions are available for experienced, qualified, competent and conscientious swimming instructors to teach swimming to infants, toddlers, children and adults.

Applicants must hold a current SWIM Australia Teacher of Swimming & Water Safety certification or equivalent and CPR qualification.

Experience (preferred)

- Minimum of one year of swimming teaching experience (desirable)

- Customer service experience (desirable)

- Energetic and outgoing

- Outstanding communication skills

- Punctual

- CommittedWell-developed time management and supervision skills

Qualifications

- SWIM Australia Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety or equivalent

- Teacher of Babies & Toddlers/ Infant Aquatics extension license (desirable)

- SWIM Australia Teacher of Learners with Disability or equivalent (desirable)
