Experienced M.Arch Graduate
This Brisbane studio is on the hunt for an experienced M.Arch Graduate who is looking to get hands-on with major civic, public sector and defence projects. It’s a chance to sharpen your design skills, gain end-to-end project exposure and fast-track your path to registration in a supportive, collaborative team. You’ll work on some of Queensland’s most significant and complex civic, public sector and defence projects—an opportunity to make a genuine impact on the built environment while accelerating your professional development in a collaborative and supportive team.
Why This Role Stands Out
In this role you will contribute to multi-million-dollar projects from early design through delivery, applying your design thinking and technical skills on projects with real social value. The studio offers a modern Fortitude Valley workspace with the latest technology and sustainable design features, flexibility around start and finish times, and a culture that supports long-term career growth and architectural registration.
What You’ll Do
Working closely with senior architects, you will assist in concept design, design development and documentation across all stages—DA submissions, tender packages, RFIs and construction. You will coordinate with consultants and stakeholders, contribute to design discussions, and develop the skills to lead packages of work as your confidence grows.
Required Qualifications
You will bring a Master of Architecture degree and a couple of years’ post-graduate experience, ideally with exposure to Australian projects from DA to construction. Proficiency in Revit is essential, along with strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset. Most importantly, you’ll have the ambition and drive to grow within a studio that values initiative, design excellence and robust delivery.
About the Studio
This practice has a long-standing reputation in Queensland and a growing national presence. Their portfolio spans civic, defence, education and healthcare—sectors where design excellence and technical rigour matter. With a team of around 50 people, from seasoned architects to emerging talent, the culture is creative, innovative and highly collaborative, offering mentorship and clear pathways to registration.

If you’re ready to move beyond graduate tasks and contribute to projects of real civic importance, we’d love to hear from you. Call Shane O’Brien on 0406 639 008 or email shane.obrien@kappaexecutive.com
