We now have an excellent opportunity for a dynamic and professional Sales Executive to join our high performing and award-winning team.
So, what does the role look like?
As our Sales Executive - Conference & Events, you will be responsible for bringing our broad range of events to life by organising and delivering outstanding events in our dedicated Level 2 function spaces, our Level 8 salons, outside catering, and other venues as required (such as our restaurants and bars). You will also have the opportunity to upsell the extraordinary Eos by SkyCity to select clients.
Reporting into our Sales Manager - MICE and working with the wider Sales Team and the Director of Sales & Marketing, this role will assist in managing the end-to-end event planning process and be a trusted representative throughout the creation and delivery of the event. You will build strong client relationships and provide exceptional customer service to ensure an unforgettable experience for our stakeholders.
You will also collaborate with relevant teams, as well as SkyCity's preferred suppliers and partners to ensure smooth and successful event delivery and logistics, as well prepare quotes, manage invoices and any administrative tasks throughout the planning process.
What you will look like
You will shine when it comes to building meaningful relationships and will have the ability to tailor and personalise your approach to meets clients' needs. You will have a strong desire to proactively achieve results for the team, and will possess exceptional attention to detail, excellent communication skills, confident decision-making abilities, and have highly efficient administrative skills. Previous experience with Microsoft Office Suite, customer relationship and event booking software will be highly regarded, as well as tertiary qualifications in Tourism or Hospitality (or working towards).
