Plant Metallurgist

Talison Lithium is the world's leading lithium minerals producer, and we are seeking enthusiastic and motivated candidates to join our team as a Plant Metallurgist.

About the Role

Reporting to the Senior Metallurgist, the successful candidate will provide technical support to the Processing team to achieve on-specification production. The main responsibilities of the role include:

- Support the operational team with technical information and direction, including problem solving and target setting;
- Ensure production is maintained to specification and meeting planned production rates;
- Maintain the metallurgical accounting and complete daily, weekly and monthly reporting requirements;
- Identify and implement projects to improve plant performance; and
- Conduct plant surveys and trials as required to optimise performance.

This is a permanent, full-time position, working an attractive roster (8 days on, 6 days off), located in Greenbushes, offered as either DIDO or residential.

About the Candidate

We are looking for safety-focused, proactive, and positive individuals who are willing to learn to join the processing team in the role of Plant Metallurgist.

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following:

- A tertiary qualification in Extractive Metallurgy or equivalent is necessary;
- Minimum of 3 years of experience;
- A willingness to contribute toward the success of your team while supporting a positive team culture;
