- $104,539 to $117,058 per annum
- Total effective Package $128,924 to $143,198 (p.a)*

NEW Generous Attraction and Retention bonus (up to $30,000 after 24 months)
$10,000 sign on bonus plus $10,000 paid at 12 months and $10,000 paid at 24 months of continuous service (conditions apply).
About the role
The Occupational Therapist is responsible for providing support to Aboriginal children aged 0-12 and their families to optimise their child's mental health. The position works within a multidisciplinary team to support children with suspected or emerging mental illness or behavioural disorders including early assessment, therapy, management and family support to limit the severity and progression of mental health challenges.
The role will work in town and visit Central Australian communities. This program will ensure all Aboriginal children aged 0-12 and their families in Central Australia have access to evidence informed assessment and therapeutic services within a continuous quality systems enhancement framework.
What we're looking for
- An Occupational Therapist with a Bachelor or Masters degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification who is eligible for membership of Occupational Therapy Australia (OTA).
- A practitioner who can build strong, trusting relationships with clients and the community.
- If you bring exceptional clinical and communication skills, a proactive, adaptable attitude, a genuine respect for diverse client backgrounds, we'd like to hear from you.
