Roster: Fixed Term Contract to January 2027 | Full Time Mon – Fri
Reports to: Manager People Operations
Your Opportunity
We are seeking a talented HR professional to join our People team in the role of Advisor People Operations. This is a hands-on role supporting the broader IGO People team working closely with leaders across various business units. You will support the team with first-line people matters and provide guidance, support, coaching, and education to stakeholders. A large part of this role includes the support of cyclical People activities and ensuring management and accuracy of People-related data. The role will offer occasional site travel opportunities and is offered on a fixed-term basis until January 2027.

What You’ll Do
- End-to-end HR support; Manage general enquiries, on and offboarding, inductions and immigration processes;
- Advice & Coaching; Coach leaders on people management and support performance and engagement programs;
- Industrial & Employee Relations; With support from the team, advise on IR & ER matters, including grievance investigations and disciplinary actions;
- Documentation & Data; Prepare contract variations, secondment letters, maintain accurate records, update systems and ensure data integrity;
- Reporting & Activity tracking; Manage cyclical People reporting requirements, activity schedules, and continuous improvement initiatives;
- Manage Accounts; support cost management and budget control in the People team by raising purchase orders and receipting invoices.
What You’ll Bring
Along with being collaborative and pro-active with a strong customer focus we are seeking applications from candidates who meet most of the following:
- Experience within a People/HR function performing generalist Advisor and administrative activities;
- Tertiary qualifications in HR (desirable);
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels;
- Highly developed organisational skills and a self-driven approach to managing tasks and projects;
- A flexible approach and willingness to switch between administrative and advisor level activities;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems (SuccessFactors and Pronto highly desirable);
- A recent National Police Clearance (within 2 months)
