The Opportunity

Joining the team at The Clayfield Retirement Village, this Food & Beverage Team Leader will oversee and coordinate the front-of-house (FOH) operations of The Carriage House, an a la carte restaurant, within our premium Clayfield retirement village. You will ensure a high standard of customer service, support & motivate the FOH team and will create initiatives that boost overall sales of the restaurant. This is a permanent full-time opportunity working Monday 8.30-3.30pm, Tuesday 8-3.30pm, Wednesday 9-7pm, Thursday 8.30-3.30pm and Friday 9-7pm.

Your Impact

- Support front-of-house staff to deliver warm, high-quality customer service across restaurant operations.
- Coordinate daily food & beverage service with a focus on efficiency and making special moments count.
- Champion a friendly, home-like atmosphere where residents feel welcome.
- Monitor food presentation, temperature, hygiene, and overall food-safety standards.
- Oversee event and function setup, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for guests.
- Maintain and optimise point-of-sale and hospitality systems, including reservations and payment processing.

What you will bring

- Experience in FOH hospitality leadership, ideally within a restaurant, hotel, or aged care setting.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills, with a passion for people and service.
- A flexible, hands-on approach with a genuine commitment to enhancing the lives of older Australians.

- Current Police Check clearance (required, however we can complete for you)
- Two (2) COVID-19 Vaccinations (required)
