Overview

JLEGroup is an industry leading electrical engineering and contracting company based in Dubbo, servicing the regional hub of the Central West NSW for 20 years. JLE is accredited Level 1,2 & 3 ASP’s and specialises in HV and LV power systems including Overhead & underground distribution works for all utility works. We are currently seeking motivated people to join our team of Electrical Apprentices/Linespersons full time in Dubbo, NSW with travel across regional sites.

About the role

As a full-time Apprentice your main duties will be project based and working with the requirements needed to successfully deliver the expected works. Works may include basic Electrical, Labouring & WHSE Tasks. You will be required to report to the Project Supervisor when required and deliver all tasks to successfully complete the scheduled works.

Areas of responsibility

- Always adhering to safety standards, as well as complying with company and industry regulations

- Installing brackets & Hangers to support Electrical Equipment

- Installing and completing Civil electrical works

- Large Submain Cable Installations

- Install, replace & repair electrical equipment

- Learning from experienced tradesman

- Perform electrical Utility Services on the authority network

- Reading and Interpret drawings

- Assist in Troubleshooting faults & testing

About you

- Current driver’s license

- White card

- Positive and up-beat team player

- Take personal accountability with own development

- Commitment to safety for self and others

- Ability to travel & work overtime when required

- Strong verbal and written communication skills
