About the role

The New Energy Segment Marketing Manager role is a senior strategic position responsible for leading marketing efforts across our New Energy segment, including Solar & Battery solutions and tailored Virtual Power Plant (VPP) offerings for residential customers. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, this role drives end-to-end segment marketing strategy, focusing on growth, engagement, and adoption in an emerging space. It involves annual and quarterly planning, collaboration across Product, Strategy, and Brand & Marketing, and the development of customer-centric campaigns that enhance value beyond price. With a strong emphasis on refining Customer Value Propositions and delivering integrated brand experiences, the role demands both strategic leadership and hands-on execution, ensuring performance monitoring and optimisation across all channels.

What you'll do

- Define and drive the strategic direction for the New Energy Segment, shaping value propositions and market positioning for Solar, Battery, and VPP offerings.
- Translate strategy into actionable marketing plans, tailoring initiatives by geography and refining based on performance and insights.
- Collaborate with Product, Strategy, Brand & Marketing, and Lifecycle teams to deliver integrated, customer-centric marketing execution.
- Influence internal stakeholders and manage external agencies and partners to ensure effective and aligned marketing outcomes.
- Support business planning, build investment cases, and manage marketing budgets to drive sustainable growth.
- Promote a high-performing, inclusive team culture that reflects agility, compliance, and innovation.

Your experience

- Proven experience developing strategic segment marketing programs with measurable ROI across the full customer lifecycle
- Strong background in managing and optimising marketing channels and tools
- Demonstrated ability to communicate with influence across all levels of an organisation
- Experience working with external agencies to deliver impactful marketing outcomes
- New Energy or similar experience is not essential but highly desirable
