Role Overview

As our Sales Manager for Durable Goods, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining strong relationships with key customer contacts with the aim of retention and growth. Your deep understanding of the Industrial and Construction sector, particularly with Sealing / Bonding and Manufacturing, and your ability to connect with clients at all levels will be key in achieving our strategic goals. You’ll work closely with key stakeholders, a supportive team and lead exciting projects that shape the future of our industry.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and drive business growth.

- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within the customer group.

- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment on business objectives and project deliverables.

- Generate and evaluate new product ideas and suggestions.

- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.

- Represent Bostik at industry events, conferences, and networking functions.

- Manage and grow a portfolio of assigned accounts to deliver targets as per budget.

- Launch new product and take to market supporting the wider DG sales team.

- Penetrate new markets and regions as part of growth strategy.

- Identify and execute new Private Label opportunities.

- Develop positive working relationships with key customer contacts.

- Generating new sales using existing and potential customer networks.

- Execute agreed sales initiatives as per budget and deadlines.

What We’re Looking For

- At least 3 to 5‑year sales experience in account management, new business development or product launch preferably in Industrial & Manufacturing.

- Understand the skills and qualities essential for driving proactive sales success in a competitive environment.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a talent for building and nurturing client relationships.

- Strong commercial acumen.

- A strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market trends and adapt strategies accordingly.

- Excellent organizational and project management skills, with attention to detail.

- A proactive and motivated approach, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.

- A passion for creating positive client experiences and achieving outstanding results.

- Exposure to SAP and Salesforce is desirable but not required as we are willing to train you.
