About the Role
Our Melbourne team is dedicated to creating a seamless, world-class experience for our people and visitors in our 100 person Head Office on Collins Street. Based in Melbourne CBD, the Office Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the smooth operation of the office, ensuring an exceptional workplace experience that reflects our values of collaboration, innovation, and excellence. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated professional ready to step into a part-time role, drive operational excellence, and support our strong workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily office operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and a consistently high standard of service.
- Manage front-of-house tasks to deliver a warm and professional experience for all employees and guests.
- Oversee office refurbishments and workplace improvement projects.
- Implement and maintain office management strategies, policies, and procedures.
- Manage facilities, including space planning, maintenance, and general upkeep.
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes, providing strong support for the Executive Team.
- Plan and execute events that bring our people together—team gatherings, celebrations, and company-wide functions.
- Build strong, trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Align local operational initiatives with global standards and best practices.
About You
This role is ideal for someone with operational experience who thrives in a dynamic environment and takes pride in creating great workplace experiences. We’re looking for someone who can demonstrate:
- Proven operational management experience.
- Experience initiating projects, including relocations and fit-outs.
- Strong budget management and confident negotiation skills.
- The ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining high standards.
- Sharp attention to detail and a polished, professional approach.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. A natural ability to foster connection and team engagement through events and initiatives.
