What You’ll Do

Every shift is different, but you’ll play a vital role in supporting individuals and their families. Tasks may include:

- Personal Care – Assisting with showering, dressing, and toileting with dignity and respect.
- Medication Support – Helping clients stay on track with their health needs.
- Mobility Assistance – Using hoists and slide sheets to keep clients safe and comfortable.
- Household Help – Meal prep, laundry, and light cleaning to keep homes running smoothly.
- Community Support – Joining clients for appointments, shopping, or social activities.

- A valid Open Driver’s Licence and access to a vehicle (must be okay with driving for 3-hour Ballina shifts).
- Current First Aid & CPR certificates.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working With Children’s Check (or willingness to obtain).
- NDIS Orientation Module Certificate (free and easy to obtain)
- A smartphone with up-to-date capabilities.
