Reporting to the Manufacturing Engineer, you’ll play a key role in supporting the production and engineering teams during the implementation of our new Salisbury South facility. This 12‑month contract offers flexibility in capacity (0.8 or full time) and a unique opportunity to be involved in a range of projects, maintenance work, and continuous‑improvement activities that keep our operations running smoothly.

You’ll be responsible for a variety of maintenance and repair tasks, from coordinating small projects to working alongside contractors, ensuring that our work environment meets the highest safety and food‑quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Complete general maintenance and repair tasks across our manufacturing sites.

- Develop and maintain a worklist for small to medium tasks, ensuring progress is tracked and communicated.

- Support project implementation activities as required.

- Coordinate and supervise external contractors, including inductions where required.

- Model and promote strong safety behaviours, including the use of Lock‑Out/Tag‑Out (LOTO).

- Promote a strong safety culture by actively following and supporting all Work Health and Safety procedures.

- Maintain food safety standards, keeping work areas clean and safe at all times.

- Complete administrative and change‑control documentation accurately.

What You’ll Bring

- Experience in a similar role (minimum 2 years).

- Solid knowledge of tools, equipment and materials common to maintenance environments.

- Strong problem‑solving skills with good attention to detail.

- Friendly and approachable, with a customer‑focused attitude.

- Strong organisational and time‑management skills.

- Understanding of workplace safety and compliance requirements.

- Experience in a food‑manufacturing environment.

- Forklift licence and/or a scissor‑lift licence will be highly regarded.
