What does the job look like?

BevChain’s transport team has an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and efficient Transport Allocator to join the team in Yatala, QLD. The role involves rostering and managing fleet drivers, planning and coordinating activities, ensuring effective communication and maximum fleet utilisation. You will support driver welfare initiatives while delivering high-standard service to our customers. The role is permanent full-time, operating Tuesday to Saturday with an early morning shift from 04:30 to 13:00. The site operates six days a week and flexibility is required as needed.

Responsibilities

- Planning and allocation of daily tasks and services, utilising company and contractor fleets effectively.
- Record and maintain daily reports to ensure timely service deliveries.
- Conduct safety inspections and oversee routine servicing and maintenance of fleet.
- Communicate effectively with customers, internal stakeholders and the warehouse team.
- Adhere to relevant policies, procedures and guidelines.
- Participate in and commit to Safety Standards and COR requirements.

- Ability to coordinate routes in the system using TMS software.

Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
