Aeris Resources are currently seeking applications for Heavy Vehicle (HV) Fitters to join our Mining Maintenance Team at Cracow Gold Operations based in central Queensland.

The Nitty Gritty

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor you will be working to repair and maintain an extensive fleet of trucks, loaders, drills and underground equipment across the mine site.

While your days may never be the same you will be required to:

- Conduct diagnostics & fault finding processes as required for equipment

- Conduct workshop pit duties as required or directed by supervisor

- Work in conjunction with all mobile maintenance teams to achieve 100% schedule compliance

- Conduct effective preventative maintenance to a high standard and within planned durations.

- Ensure Aeris Resources and Cracow site operations procedures and policies are followed

- Accurate and timely reporting of hazards, incidents and near misses.

- Contribute to continuous improvement by constantly looking for opportunities to improve work safety, practices and procedures.

- Ensure good clear communication line within team and with other sections/departments

- Commit to maintaining health, safety and security standards and principles, both within own workplace and through the identification of potential risks throughout Aeris Resources.

- Demonstrate behaviours aligned with the Aeris Resources values.

- Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the supervisor

About You:

- Air-conditioning accreditation and experience highly regarded

- Demonstrated experience in underground mining industry working on heavy machinery or a similar field

- High standard of work quality

- Be self-motivated and have a team orientated approach

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

Cracow Gold Operations

Cracow Gold Operations is an established underground gold mine located near the towns of Cracow and Theodore in central Queensland, and a short flight from Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast. It is 100% owned and operated by Aeris Resources and holds a significant tenement package over the Cracow goldfields.
