SIS is looking for the best and brightest personnel to join their team. Currently, we are looking for a Permanent Full-time Blaster Painter.

Main Duties/Responsibilities

1. Preparation of surfaces for painting or coating

2. Operating sandblasting equipment to remove rust, scale and other impurities

3. Applying protective coatings to surfaces

4. Ensuring the correct type of abrasive is used for specific jobs

5. Regularly maintaining and cleaning sandblasting equipment

6. Ensuring safety procedures are followed during sandblasting operations

7. Inspecting surfaces after sandblasting to ensure cleanliness

8. Mixing sandblasting materials according to specifications

9. Loading sandblasting equipment with abrasive materials

10. Setting up and dismantling sandblasting equipment

11. Ensuring the work area is clean and safe after completion of sandblasting operations

12. Checking and maintaining the quality of the sandblasting process.
