About The Role

The Finance Business Partner will be responsible for supporting the Shafts division and team by providing cost visibility, analysis, reporting and making sure forecasting and budgeting is performed efficiently and accurately. The role will be full time based out of our Perth office 5 days per week.

Key Responsibilities

- Reporting timely, accurate and reliable monthly results
- Preparation of business unit annual budget, forecast and long-term plan
- Produce reports to assist in the development of monthly management reporting and monitoring of budgets
- Providing comprehensive analysis to support decision making including recommending solutions
- Contribute to the preparation and ongoing maintenance of the budget
- Prepare presentations and written materials to communicate outputs from financial and commercial analysis
- Partnering with various stakeholders to help drive financial acumen across the business
- Identify improvements in financial processes and systems and participate in the scoping, planning, and implementation of improvements

About You

- Current CA or CPA qualifications
- Analytical skills with experience in data analysis and expertise in Excel
- Exposure to mining industry preferred
- Ability to effectively communicate financial results to a variety of stakeholders
- The ability to question and interpret results and seek answers to support operations
- Ideally experience with Oracle, JD Edwards or Pronto
- Minimum of 3+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis and budgeting
- Familiarity with financial forecasting, cost analysis, and profitability metrics
- Collaborative approach to work with the ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, and external partners
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and contribute to a positive work culture
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines effectively
- Willingness to take on new challenges and continuously learn and grow professionally
- High ethical standards with a commitment to integrity, honesty, and confidentiality in all aspects of work
- Adherence to company policies and compliance with regulatory requirements is essential
