About the role

- Support the Catholic ethos of the school and teach the Religious Education program
- Embrace partnerships with students, colleagues and the parent community
- Be highly motivated, organised and a dedicated member of the SFX staff
- Undertake a wholistic approach to student wellbeing
- Provide effective differentiated teaching across all areas of the curriculum
- Be confident in the use of ICT
- Demonstrate a competence in using an inquiry based approach to learning
- Engage students in contemporary learning opportunities across the curriculum
- Demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively

Special Requirements

- Commence work at the start of Term One, 2026
- Either have accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic School, or a willingness to seek accreditation in the future
- Have current VIT registration
- Complete the attached Application for Employment Form, including the pre-employment disclosure questions
- Have an understanding of, and a commitment to, a safe environment for children.

Application Procedure

Applications are to include a cover letter (no more than 1 page) addressed to the Principal, a CV that includes the names of 3 referees, as well as the Application for Employment document (see attached). Your current or most recent School Principal must be one of your listed referees. Applications should be submitted by email to the Principal, Steve Peart – principal@sfxfrankston.catholic.edu.au by 4pm on Monday 29th September 2025.
