You’ll play a pivotal role in planning, designing, and delivering high-voltage transmission infrastructure (typically 132kV and above), supporting Australia’s energy transition and grid modernisation.**Your role will include:*** Conducting technical assessments and feasibility studies for major transmission line projects.* Leading and reviewing designs, specifications, and drawings for transmission lines (132kV and above).* Ensuring compliance with Australian codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.* Collaborating with utilities, EPCs, and government agencies throughout the project lifecycle.* Providing design leadership and mentoring within the team to ensure technical excellence.* Supporting construction, testing, and commissioning activities.Joining Aurecon means you’ll be at the award-winning edge of innovation and sustainability. We value the unique skills each person brings, and we’re looking for someone with:* Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).* 10+ years’ experience in transmission line engineering, with proven HV (132kV and above) design capability.* Proficiency in transmission line design tools (e.g., PLS-CADD, PLS TOWER, PLS POLE).* Experience working with utilities, transmission asset owners, or EPC contractors.* Strong technical leadership skills with the ability to guide a multidisciplinary team.* Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders.* Knowledgeable on Australian and International standards and industry codes of practice for transmission lines.* Must be a Registered Professional Engineers in Victoria (RPEV)Aurecon’s strength has always been our people.
