Overview
We are recruiting for a full-time Coordinator (38 hours per week) to join YMCA Woodcrest Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) Service.
Responsibilities
- In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the OSHC service and the management of a team of Educators, with support from a management team including fellow Coordinators, Senior Coordinator, Area Coordinator, Regional Manager and the OSHC Manager.
- Develop quality programs.
- Coordinate staffing and rostering.
- Ensure compliance with policy.
- Undertake administrative requirements.
- Work collaboratively with families and the school community.
Qualifications
- Completed (or close to completing) a relevant qualification in Childcare or Teaching (minimum - Diploma of Children’s Services).
- Sound experience in assisting with programming and a passion for providing quality childcare.
- Thrive in delivering excellent customer service.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Valid First Aid and CPR certifications, or willingness to obtain them.
- Current Blue Card, or willingness to obtain one.

YMCA Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) services care for children before school, after school and during holidays across 50+ school sites throughout South East Queensland. We are the fastest growing OSHC provider in the South East, which in turn provides our staff with the ability to grow and move through the company as their careers head to the next level.

YMCA Woodcrest Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) is located at the Woodcrest State College Primary Campus and the service is licensed for 120 children and is located across the road from Springfield Train Station.
